Information

  1. The Power Pad is suitable for Generac, Honeywell, Kohler, and Briggs & Stratton air-cooled generators that fit the pad footprint. This includes units that are smaller than the Power Pad.
  2. Limited 15 year warranty. Learn more here.
  3. Made with a solid insulating material that helps prevent frost heaving in cold climates.
  4. The flat bottom and solid construction of the Power Pad behaves the same as a concrete pad in distributing load, helping to eliminate sinking. It also facilitates easy leveling of the Power Pad and generator.
  5. Extremely strong, lightweight and durable, the Power Pad is 1/14th the weight of available concrete pads and will not crack or chip. The Power Pad is easy to move by hand, store anywhere, and install.

Installation Instructions

  1. Use the same site surface preparation and generator installation instructions as indicated in the generator installation manual.
  2. Place the Power Pad into position with the Power Pad logo facing up.
  3. Center the generator over the Power Pad. Align the Power Pad with the generator. Note: Once installed, the generator will not slide easily on the Power Pad. The Power Pad should be correctly aligned under the generator prior to lowering the generator.
  4. Lower the generator onto the Power Pad. Use 3/8” lag bolts with washers to anchor the generator to the Power Pad through the indicated mounting holes.
    1. For generators with an additional plastic base, 6” lag bolts are required.
    2. For generators with frames sitting directly on the pad, 4” lag bolts are required.
    3. Snug lag bolts to the generator frame and add one full turn.
    4. If the lag bolts strip, leave them in place and do not tighten more. The Power Pad will not be damaged and the bolts will still function.
