This generator for house use and connection to a transfer switch. This generator has a 6% THD and is not an invertor. However, in Canada, they are very difficult to find. GenTech showed up with 1 in stock, so I ordered it right away. Gentech was great to deal with and shipped the generator promptly at a reasonable cost. When I opened the box, instead of getting the Kohler PRO9.0 - 7200, I got the Kohler PRO9.0E - 7200 (the electric start model) instead. I called Gentech about this and they said they had that model as well and shipped that to me as it was a better unit at no cost.
